"Badges? We don't need no steenking..."

Well, yes we do. Just not the ones DaimlerChrysler put on the car. I asked the dealer to remove 'MAGNUM' and 'RT' from the rear of mine. They declined.

Word has it that if you remove anything off of a black Dodge Magnum its going to leave a shadow of its original self in the paint. You'll be able to see the outline. The dealer confirmed this and didn't want to risk any liability (sheesh) despite the fact I plan to cover it up anyway.

I can live with the 'MAGNUM' on the left, but not that milquetoast 'RT' on the right. What was Dodge thinking?

Stage 1 was putting on 1970 Dodge Challenger badges on the right and left front quarter panels.  I left the  'HEMI' on the sides as people stare at it constantly as if it was a naked woman painted on down there or something.

Stage 2 placed a smaller 1969 Dodge Coronet emblem on the trunklid to replace the rear 'RT'. Removal of the emblem, by the way, was ridiculously simple with the old fishing line trick.
