Remote Engine Start

The Remote Start is, in my opinion, one of the most worthwhile add-ons you can put onto your Magnum.

You can tell people you did it because it promotes better engine warmups than just jumping into the car and driving off.

If you live where its hot in the summer, you can point out how nice it is to walk into a car where the air conditioning has been running for a couple of minutes already.

Your mother, who still thinks you are a good boy despite everything you've done over the years, will believe this.

But neither your wife/girlfriend nor any of your friends will. Hey, this is an absolutely cool toy to add onto an already cool toy. You must have this.

For starters, be prepared for the reactions of passersby. You can fire your baby up from up to 850 feet away, and through walls according to the manual (this appears to be true), but why do that when you can start 'er up 30 feet away and watch the reaction of the people getting into the car right next to you? A jet black magnum? No driver? It started *itself*? It must be Satan's car. Get in the minivan Muffin... *now*.

That may be a little overdramatic, but not by much, I promise you.

Likewise, as soon as you show up at the barbecue and say "Hey, check this out!" and fire up the engine with your hands in your pockets, the only reactions you will hear are (from the guys) "kewwwl!" or (from the gals, while rolling their eyes) "oh brother!"

Mopar got this one right. And as a byproduct it really will promote better engine warmup.
