K&N Typhoon

Easy to install (if I can do it, anybody can) and very cool both in looks and functionality, the Typhoon intake kit improves throttle response (based on SOTP* dyno tests) and gives you a bit of extra horsepower (my Escort GT-2 reported 13 hp).

It also has the unadvertised and possibly unique-to-the-Magnum feature of being a cold air intake that performs even better than the original, already-cold system. See my tests on this in another section of this site for details.

Lastly, the Typhoon adds GREAT sound. This probably has more to do with the filter being used without the silencer (eardrum) than any magic inherent in the Typhoon's simple design.

Hey, read this:
This web site is actively used as a software test platform for my ContentMonger Pro content management software.  As such you may see weird things happen as I work, bugfix and experiment.  Hopefully it won't inconvenience you but if it does, sorry about that.  Whatever you see going on is very likely to fix itself shortly as I am aware that traffic on this site is now fairly significant.
