Eibach Pro-Kit springs advertise a lowering of the Dodge Magnum by about 1.3-1.4 inches. Thats about what I got out of mine... on the first day. These springs are known to 'settle' over time and mine eventually decided they would rest at about a 1.75" drop. The pictures here show the drop after it settled to the full 1.75".
Ride quality is moderately affected by the small drop. The Magnum definitely doesn't handle rough roads as well, but ride is still acceptable and is in line with a sport-tuned luxury vehicle. On smooth highways you'll never know the springs are on.
But you sure will when you take a corner. The Dodge Magnum is a bus when you try to sling it around, and these springs seem to melt 1000 pounds off the vehicle. Performance in corners is improved dramatically.
And one thing that you had better pay attention to if you plan on doing this: At stock height the Magnum is pretty much able to handle any curb or obstacle, albeit by sometimes scraping the underside of its front spoiler. Lower the car and you can forget about that. You will learn to ALWAYS park away from the curb.
Always.
